If you are planning a trip to Panama, I highly recommend having Bill Guía as your tour guide. Bill is incredibly knowledgeable about Panamanian history and culture. He has a strong grasp on English making it very easy for us to communicate. The most impressive thing about Bill is his friendly, positive attitude! He is genuinely one of the coolest, most friendly, and kind people I have ever met. The two days I spent with Bill exploring the Panama Canal, Panama City, and the Gamboa Rainforest are absolutely unforgettable. In addition to being an amazing tour guide, I gained a new friend in Bill. I will definitely reach out to him before my next trip to the beautiful, wonderful country of Panama!

Embera tours was awesome! They were flexible and accommodating, helping us to make the most of our time. Such a fun experience! Ivan was incredible. We would absolutely join him on a tour again. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience! Highly recommend!

Bill was incredibly accommodating from picking us up at the airport to the tours, and then making sure we were safely checked into the hotel. I cannot recommend working with this team enough. Just book your tours with Embera and you'll be incredibly satisfied.

I went on the 7 Hour Excursion with Embera Tours, at first I was unsure if the price was worth it. But after our time was up we didn’t want to leave. We had such an amazing time learning about the tribe, and the culture. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Panama!

Raissa and Bill make a great pair! They arranged for, and picked us up and drove us to the Sloth Sanctuary and Zipline jungle adventure. They had great communication before and during the adventure, weee. Wry prompt, and helped with buying tickets. It was a nice 1/2 day.

Bill was awesome!!! He's extremely friendly and outgoing. Seems like everyone in Panama knows him. When we were hungry, he brought us to a great restaurant and waited for us. He is polite, funny and knows this country very well. The ultimate tour guide!

If you are up for meeting people who are still trying to keep their Indigenous roots in the ways they always have, then this is the tour for you. There is a chance to immerse yourself as fully or as cursory as you feel comfortable visiting local waterfalls along the river, and an Embera village where you will eat the delicious food, learn about their ways of living and watching/participating in their dances and songs. Be sure to bring some money to purchase something from their craft shop as goods sold are a fundraiser for the community - but they are too kind to tell you that and will not push you as some vendors do.
Bill was an excellent host with lots of answers to questions, anecdotes and information along the way. I would highly recommend going on any tour he offers.
