After three incredible years of guiding travelers through the jungles, rivers, islands, and culture of Panama, we are excited to announce that Embera Tours is now LDS Global Adventures — Panama’s premier licensed tour operator.
This is not just a name change. It is a milestone that reflects who we have become and where we are going. Same faces, same guides, same commitment to giving you an authentic Panamanian experience — but with a bigger vision and a broader range of adventures to offer.
Why Did We Change Our Name?
When we started as Embera Tours, our identity was closely tied to one of our most beloved experiences: visits to the Emberá indigenous community. That tour remains one of the most moving and authentic things you can do in Panama, and we are proud to continue offering it.
But over the years, we grew. We added San Blas island expeditions, Panama Canal tours, Monkey Island adventures, Venas Azules, city tours, private custom experiences, and more. Our name no longer reflected the full range of what we offer — or the direction we are headed as a company.
At the same time, we recently obtained our official Tour Operator licenses A and B from the Panamanian government — a certification that places us among the country’s most credentialed operators. It felt like exactly the right moment to step into a new identity that matches our growth.
LDS Global Adventures is built to represent ALL of Panama — its people, its nature, its history, and its extraordinary diversity of experiences.
